09.13.10 - Chefs on Stage

Scheduled for September 13, 2010, Chefs on Stage will once again be held at the Ramada Conference Center in State College.  This year the event will benefit The Second Mile, a nonprofit organization serving the youth of Pennsylvania.  The Second Mile challenges young people to achieve their potential as individuals and community members by providing opportunities for them to develop positive life skills and self-esteem as well as by providing education and support for parents and professionals addressing the needs of youth.

We hope that you will join us for an evening featuring many of the talented chefs in our area.  This year, your sponsorship of Chefs of Stage will help support The Second Mile’s Center for Excellence, a new campus in the State College area that will allow The Second Mile to open doors to the children and families who currently are not served due to space limitations and to offer programs that best fit their needs at the times when they most need support.

If your organization would be willing, the Second Mile would welcome your support of the Silent Auction to be held at the event. A gift certificate or other item suitable for placement in the Auction would be deeply appreciated.
