Who We Are
We're local businesses and international corporations. We're mom-and-pop operations and major employers. We're accounting firms and warehousing companies and everything in between. We're everyone who's interested in working together for the success of our businesses and our region.

With over 1,000 members, the Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County is one of the largest and most influential chamber/economic development organizations in Pennsylvania.

Who Are Our Members?
We have a wide variety of interests, but all of our members are either located in or do business in Centre County, Pennsylvania. We operate in industry/manufacturing, retail, insurance, banking, engineering, consulting, health care, the non-profit sector, education, the arts - you name it, and they're members of our Chamber. As President/CEO, John's primary responsibility is to provide effective leadership for the organization and its members in carrying out the Chamber's mission, directing internal operations and developing external relationships beneficial to business and community advancement. John is the staff person responsible for the CEO Group, Finance, Human Resources, Nominating and Long-Range Planning task forces.

As Vice President of Government Affairs, Dan is responsible for managing and implementing the initiatives of the Government Affairs Division and working closely with the Government Affairs Committee and the Heritage 1 Committee.

As Vice President of Chamber Operations, Jean is responsible for directing the Chamber's marketing, communications, special events, and membership recruitment and retention efforts. Jean is the staff person responsible for the Member Services Division which includes Ambassadors Club, Membership Task Force, ChamberDeal$, Special Events, Chamber Publications, and ChamberU.

As Vice President of Economic Development, Trudy is responsible for overseeing Penn Eagle Industrial Park, the Business Incubation Program, TeamPA Business Expansion & Retention Program, and economic development grants and business financing programs. Trudy is also responsible for the Loan Review Committee.

As Business Incubation Manager, Richard is responsible for the overall management of the CBICC Business Incubation Program including recruitment and mentorship of incubation member companies; oversight of infrastructure including structures and incubation spaces and general business management.

As Office Manager, Angela provides overall coordination and management of office activities, supervises and directs the office support staff, serves as the staff liaison and maintains administrative responsibility over office resources and databases.

As Events and Publications Coordinator, Connie manages and implements the Chamber’s special events including the “Open for Business” golf tournament, Business & Industry Expo, Annual Meeting, Awards Gala, and the Business After Hours program. Connie is also responsible for the production of CBICC publications, including the Guide to Centre County, area map, and Membership Directory.

As Membership Services and Communications Coordinator, Sara works with new members, manages the Chamber’s database, and website, produces ChamberNet and Heritage 1 newsletters, the bi-monthly InstaNews and all press releases and coordinates the Chamber’s advertising opportunities and media events.
