The Centre County Economic Development Partnership is a growing group of private businesses, financial institutions, local municipalities, and Penn State University that are helping to provide a funding base to support strategic economic development initiatives that will strengthen the private sector economy of Centre County and the surrounding region.
THE VISION:
Recruitment -- The CCEDP is focused on brining new wealth and investment to Centre County and the I-99 Corridor through competitive business recruitment strategies.
Retention/Expansion -- The CCEDP will keep local businesses strong through supportive retention efforts.
Entrepreneurship -- The CCEDP will pave the way for successful business startups through enhanced support of local entrepreneurs.

Marketing -- Enhanced marketing strategies to promote Centre County and the I-99 Corridor as an attractive business location.
Connections -- Strategic partnerships with Penn State University, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, and other economic development partners broaden our reach with industry site selectors and corporate decision makers.
Conversion -- Resources allow the CBICC to respond to and compete for economic development project inquiries.
