CBICC President & CEO Greg Scott with Chamber board members Ted McDowell and Bill Joseph in Dec. 2022.
Please join me in wishing Ted McDowell, Bill Joseph and Dr. Richard Makin well as they retire from the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County.
Ted is a former Senior Vice President with Ameriserv Bank. He served on the Chamber board from 1992 to 1999 and then again from 2009 through 2022. He chaired the board in 1999 and again from 2013 to 2015. He also served on the executive committee and played an instrumental role in the executive search for the past four presidents/CEOs of the Chamber.
Bill is a former Senior Vice President at First National Bank. He joined the Chamber board in 2009. He served on the executive committee from 2015 through 2021 and was chair for two years of his tenure.
Dr. Makin joined the Chamber board in 2016. He is the President of the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology.
The contributions of all three have been invaluable to the Chamber’s growth and success and in helping our organization support business as the leading economic-development organization in Centre County.
On behalf of the Chamber staff, our members and their fellow board members, I’d like to express our deep appreciation for their years of extraordinary service and dedication.
Sincerely,
Greg Scott
