cbicc announces new advertising partnerships exclusively for chamber members
ground broken for new economic development project
On Friday, June 9, ground was broken for a new building at Innovation Park that will house UK-based Morgan Advanced Materials' Carbon Science Center of Excellence at Innovation Park. The company announced last July that it would locate its first North American COE in Centre County. The project will ultimately lead to the creation of between 20 and 25 full-time and wide-ranging research jobs. CBICC President and CEO Vern Squier was among the dignitaries that spoke at and participated in the groundbreaking ceremony. The CBICC, on behalf of its Centre County Economic Partnership stakeholders, represented the community throughout discussions with Penn State University and Morgan Advanced Materials. The project is Penn State's first global industrial partnership under Invent Penn State. The new building is expected to be completed in December. The video below captures highlights of the event.
The CBICC is pleased to announce two new advertising partnerships exclusively for member businesses/organizations. Both are designed to enable CBICC members to make the most of their advertising/marketing dollars by offering discounted advertising solutions. A new television advertising partnership with Comcast Spotlight includes a 10 percent rate discount and free video advertising consultation. Comcast Spotlight delivers your commercial to local viewers on all the screens they watch -- TV, laptops, phones or tablets. Learn more about the video advertising partnership from Comcast Spotlight.
A new partnership with Seven Mountains Media includes special offers for existing CBICC members, as well as new members. New members will receive a $400 radio advertising voucher when they join, which can be used on any Seven Mountains Media State College radio station throughout 2017. Existing CBICC members, who also sign a minimum four-month agreement with any Seven Mountains Media State College radio station will receive a $400 voucher to be used for a CBICC commercial tagged with the member business' information. Contact Seven Mountains Media for more details.
